Now there’s a repair for the very short reach spark plugs. The Time Sert 14125F may very well be the fix you’re looking for. Very shallow plug holes like this take a special thread repair kit. The regular Time Sert 4412 is great in a lot of applications but if working on a spark plug hole that takes the Autolite # 86 spark plug or the equivalent, cross referenced below; the correct kit will be the 14125F.
