TIME-SERT 3221 Summary: The Time-Sert 3221 is specifically for spark plug repair in Ford 3V motors that have damage or missing threads. Thread size is 16X1.5mm which fits 04, 05, 06, 07 and some 08 Ford 5.4 3V engines (also fits 4.6 and 6.8 3v motors). It’s important to know that some 2008 models and newer may have a different kit requirement due to a difference in the seat. Late production 08’s and up may use a special M12x1.25 Taper seat plug.

Don’t replace the oil pan due to stripped threads – TIME-SERT makes threads stronger than new.
Many VW New Beetles and Golfs share the same type aluminum oil pan which can be repaired.

It’s funny how sometimes when you are teaching someone how to do something on a car, things don’t go as planned. After working on cars for over twenty five years and doing countless oil changes, they have become so second nature that nothing could be easier, right?
